*The IMVU Mac Beta release will be an update that Mac users can download as a beta application to get a headstart on our new desktop experience. It will co-exist with the current IMVU desktop app, unless you upgrade to Mac OS 10.15, and will be differentiated with a “BETA” flag over the IMVU dashboard icon.
*If you are looking for ways to uninstall IMVU, follow this guide to remove the application correctly. We will share two ways how to remove IMVU on your Mac. First, quit the application from the Dock Panel, then open Finder and from the Menu Bar click Go → select Go to Folder → in the search field type /Library.

IMVU Studio is a new stand-alone client. After reviewing your feedback, we concluded that separating Studio and Desktop would result in smaller downloads, allow independent development on each app, and improve the experience for both users and CreatorsBackward Compatibility
The underlying structure of how products are created has remained the same in IMVU Studio. About 90% of existing products in our catalog will be derivable into Studio .
